Lisa is the current President of Australian Dance Adjudicators, being elected by her peers in 2017 after spending 8 years as the Secretary of the Association. As an adjudicator Lisa has been able to witness the ever-evolving changes in dance.
A dedicated dancer and teacher, Lisa is trained in classical ballet, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance but her passion is with tap dancing. Her career has seen her perform on various TV shows and other live performances throughout Sydney.
As a teacher, Lisa has put numerous students through exams in all facets with outstanding results and has created routines that have placed at multiple competitions, both locally and inter-state. A highlight of her teaching career was travelling overseas with her students to perform in a charity event raising funds for local charities.
As a dancer, teacher, “dance mum” and adjudicator, Lisa is very aware of all that goes into a performance and looks forward to sharing her knowledge with all performers so that they can continue to develop in their dancing journey
Natalie is one of the Gold Coast's most versatile, sought after and talented commercial dancers. She has performed around the world on multiple international contracts in America, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and nationally all across Australia. She has shared stages with the likes of Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian, Brooke Evers, Bombs Away, Timmy Trumpet, Stafford Brothers, Savage, Havana Brown and DJ Tigerlily.
Among her achievements on the Gold Coast, She was also one of the few featured professional dancers in the 2018 Commonwealth Games entertainment team for the two year lead up, Extra and movement choreographer in the latest Hollywood blockbuster “Thor 3: Ragnarok”, also performing for many cruise lines and production companies.
More than just an incredible performer, Natalie has choreographed numerous events for Aerial Angels, Broadway Production Management and Chase Creations Agency. She is also extremely passionate about sharing her craft and the love of dance with others. With her extensive training across multiple genres of dance, alongside her entertainment industry experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to every classroom.
Joel Peisley is a dancer and choreographer with a career spanning 20 years. He has worked extensively across television, corporate events, tours and award shows with a range of artists including Rhonda Burchmore, Chris Isaak, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, INXS, Human Nature and many acts from The Voice, Idol, and X Factor.
Joel has taught at McDonald College and guest workshops for A.T.O.D. and B.A.L, with many long-term students currently working worldwide. For over a decade, Joel has been a critic and columnist for Dancetrain magazine.
As a judge, he travels Australia and New Zealand adjudicating. Internationally, Joel has served on the voting academy for the American Choreography Awards – evaluating work from the world’s leading choreographers.
